3THREE8 Manzanita IS NOT a short term vacation rental - no weekends or shorter, multi-night stays. It's also NOT a long term rental - 12 months or more. You invest in at least a month (30 days) and then create your own timeline based on future bookings. This is an upscale property - if you want to pay less and don't mind 70's linoleum, dated furniture, a hodgepodge kitchen and seagull artwork ... this is probably not your unit.
Interior amenities include hand scraped acacia hardwood flooring, new kitchen appliances including Electrolux glass cooktop, Ceasarstone counters, Ann Sacks tiled bathroom with walk in Hansgrohe shower and heated tile flooring, dimmable LED lighting throughout, Wi-Fi, Bosch washer/dryer in unit, all new contemporary furniture and other high end finishings. It's hard to find a rental property in Manzanita, or on the coast for that matter, that isn't dark, dated or decorated by your grandma.
The interior layout, designed by TVA Architects of Portland, is open while still intimate. Two bedrooms feature brand new queen size beds, new carpeting and plenty of storage. Main living area is dynamite and has terrific flow - it's one big great room with great light and views to the golf course in the back yard. Brand new Smart LCD TV's are in living area and master bedroom with Spectrum cable + Roku. You also have your own private backyard complete with modern patio furniture, fire pit, new Weber grill and golf course views. As you sit down for an evening cocktail on the back patio you can hear the ocean in the background.
Finally, the location! Just a block to Laneda Avenue with boutique shops, banks, galleries, grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, wine & whiskey bars, post office, library, spa ... you name it. And we're just a short 3.5 block stroll to the beach - situated on a quiet street and tucked into our own little micro climate on those windy coastal days. 3THREE8 Manzanita ~ it's beautiful here ~

DETAILS: We cover ALL UTILITIES from June - September (WiFi, electric, water/sewer, garbage and cable). Tenant covers electric all other months - about $75-$95/month - we'll cover the rest. Rates subject to change and all terms negotiable including security deposit. Small dog/s OK - medium sized dogs negotiable for additional fee. It's a very tight short or long term rental market in Manzanita and this property is brand new, high end and in an excellent location only a 1.5 block walk to downtown and 3.5 blocks to the beach.
Unit is half of a one-story duplex. Other side is licensed short term rental called 3ONE8 Manzanita - google it or visit www.3one8manzanita.com or www.airbnb.com/h/3ONE8Manzanita - only high end clientele. Both sides were fully remodeled down to the studs a few years ago and we installed a product called QuietRock within the shared wall. No one hears a thing, each side is very private and the backyards are separated with a new fence and lockable storage shed.
FURNISHINGS: Fully furnished as you can see, brand new modern sectional, new beds and full gourmet chef's kitchen. This place is dialed! We also provide you a P.O. Box (that's key as currently there are none available) and we have a new printer/scanner on site for business needs. Just show up.
I had the pleasure of staying in 338 (3THREE8 Manzanita) for the entire month of September. The house and garden are perfectly set up and located with lots of very thoughtful touches at the house that help you feel at home very quickly. The beds are super comfy, the WiFi fast, the heated floors in the bathroom and the excellent water pressure all add up to a wonderful stay. Ended up cooking quite a bit in the user friendly kitchen and 338 had all the pans and utensils one could ask for. Manzanita is a wonderful seaside town with great restaurants and services, the location of 338 really gives you the feeling of being a local too, which I like a lot. My dog and I loved the long walks on the beach and this stay will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks so much Bret, you’ve got a great space in a beautiful town and you’re a great host.

This place was wonderful, as advertised... and our overall experience much better than we had expected. We didn't realize how much we needed to get out of the city until we were welcomed by the aroma of forest meets ocean. We spent many lazy summer afternoons in the backyard. Watching the golfers was very relaxing. The town of Manzanita was incredibly friendly and by the end of the month we had met many great folks. We didn't miss a single Friday Farmer's Market which is right around the corner. The inside was clean and well-appointed. The beds and couch are very comfortable. Great shower! We would definitely stay again!

My husband and I just spent a wonderful month here in Manzanita. Bret’s beautiful duplex cottage was a dream come true - a block from town, short walk to an amazing beach and a sometimes interesting (golfers can be pretty hilarious) view of a bordering golf course. And we loved that it was absolutely quiet at night. The kitchen was perfect if we opted to cook and the bathroom was super clean with heated floors! We felt right at home and even shed a tear or two when we drove away. We could not have been happier with our choice.

This 2-bedroom bungalow in Manzanita was perfect for our needs. The location was walkable to the main area of eclectic shops and restaurants, and the beach. The house was tastefully decorated and very comfortable with a lovely IKEA kitchen. It was also nice stepping out of the shower onto a heated bathroom floor. Internet service was fast and the backyard offered a small fire pit; a nice place to hangout and watch golfers putt on the green behind the yard. The neighborhood was quiet and any questions were answered quickly by the host. The little things make all the difference, and this B&B is definitely a step above the norm. We would definitely stay again.

Wanting to experience the North Oregon coast during the low season, I rented 3Three8 for January-March 2019. It was perfect for my needs. Contemporary, clean and comfortable, it is thoughtfully equipped and tastefully decorated. The heated bathroom floor was an unexpected and welcomed amenity. The unit felt quite private; I was never aware of occupants in the short term rental half of the duplex. Even during the depths of the coastal winter the unit was light and bright. Though only 1.5 blocks from the main street (and a 5 minute stroll from the beach), the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Bret (the owner) is an upbeat, enthusiastic gent who takes great pride in the property and keeps it in top notch condition. He’s prompt in responding to queries and easy to communicate with. Finally, if you’ve read this far you probably already know Manzanita to be the sweet spot of the northern OR coast. I had a great stay at 3Three8!

My husband and I were fortunate to have just spent three months at 3THREE8. It's modern, cozy, comfortable and super clean. The place has been recently updated with brand new furnishings and high-end amenities including heated bathroom floors. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to make dinner at home. There is a great fire pit in the private backyard which overlooks the 6th hole of the local golf course. Location is perfect with a 1 block walk to town (Laneda Avenue) with restaurants, shopping, grocery stores and a delicious bakery. But the best part is the short 5 minute / 4 block walk to the ocean where you can watch beautiful sunsets and walk for miles and miles. Bret is a fabulous host. He is quick to respond to any inquiries and takes pride in managing his property.

ABOUT MANZANITA: Why Manzanita? Cannon Beach is popular with a great beach - and it has a lot a big hotels, some chain restaurants and businesses and not very quaint. Manzanita is just 12 miles south and is considered more of a quaint village that's less crowded yet featuring full amenities found on Laneda Avenue including; boutique shops, restaurants, coffee houses, grocery stores, spas, cafes, banks, wine bars and more - all shops locally owned and operated. Where Laneda Ave. meets the ocean is an uninterrupted, dog friendly seven mile beach with awesome views of Neahkahnie Mountain to the north. Once you park your car, unpack and get settled in at 3THREE8 Manzanita - everything is walkable! Other towns: Seaside, OR is great if you like strip malls, Rockaway Beach is terrific if you like kitchsky shops on busy Highway 101 and Arch Cape is quaint but lacks any type of services. Lincoln City - no thank you. Manzanita has much more of a chill vibe - more of a locals spot with less people and crowds - yet with full services. Of course we're biased - but we did our research over 20 years ago! We visited every coastal town from Astoria down to Newport over a five year period - and liked Manzanita the best for its charm, beauty, size, services, proximity to PDX and overall vibe and feel.
